Project Description
Rigging International supplied engineering, equipment and personnel to meet successfully the challenge of setting two halves of a rotary calciner, 21 feet in diameter and 130 feet in overall length, at OCI Chemical Corporation’s Wyoming soda ash processing facility. Because of minimal maneuvering room, the halves, one weighing approximately 407,000 pounds and the other about 492,000 pounds, were lifted approximately 34 feet, translated and set to their pedestals by a single-bent gantry.
